My Branding Projects:

MACH-10 Energy Drink Company

A branding project involving creating an energy drink company that was inspired by fast, speeding things such as racing and falcons. I enjoyed incorporating real racing elements into the company, such as track silhouettes and flavor names. The final production consisted of a brand book showcasing the company and its elements.

BIG BANG Cannabis Company

This was a branding project that required the creation of a cannabis company, where I took inspiration from outer space. I have always been fascinated with astronomy, and thought that it would be a proper fit for a cannabis-centered company. The end result contained multiple logos for different product lines, galaxy-like designs and an overall brand vibe that was futuristic yet fun.

Open Door Gallery Rebrand

I collaborated with a team to help the Open Door Gallery at the Worcester Art Museum undergo a rebranding project. We created a brochure and brochure insert, as well as an entry sign. We wanted to create prints that were as accessible as possible and honor the inclusivity of the gallery, yet still maintain an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.

Open Door Gallery Rebrand Process

This project had a lot of thought and time put into the process. Some highlights included the team coming together and voting on a color palette that was accessible, as well as creating a survey that asked an audience about visual preferences on samples and their opinions on visiting museums. The research was crucial to the team and the input of the audience was taken into account when designing. Multiple meetings with the client took place throughout the process to show our progress and gain insight on what they wanted to change over the course of the project.

Flock Café

A branding project in which I was tasked with creating a cafe company. I took influence from the concept of cat cafes, and wanted to make a fictional “crow café”. I was inspired by a cozy autumn aesthetic that often is paired with crows. Multiple mockups for this brand were also made such as cups, zarfs, and reward cars for loyal customers.

Times of the Dinosaurs

An infographic poster showcasing the different time periods within the Mesozoic era, and also has some memorable dinosaurs from their respective eras. I have always considered paleontology to be a passion of mine, so it became a large motivator for this project.

The Great Gatsby

A poster created for the play “The Great Gatsby” that was held at Holyoke Community College. I wanted to properly display the emotions and atmosphere of the play, while simultaneously conveying aesthetics from the 1920s, the time period where the play was set.

Movie Poster

This was a project in which consisted of creating poster that was made to remake that of a movie.  I chose my favorite movie, Jurassic Park, and created posters that were inspired by other posters as well as scenes from the movie. I felt as though the bold use of the color red paralleled with the strong emotions shown throughout the film, recreating the senses of danger and strength.

Movie Poster Process

The process for this project heavily involved Procreate which made the illustrations for the posters. The texts and final touches were then added in adobe Photoshop. There was a lot of sketching and planning that went into these posters. For example, I had originally planned for the T-Rex escape poster to have a background behind it, but I chose to leave it with no background as I felt that draws the viewer’s eyes to the dinosaur faster and easier. I also saw the dinosaur against a plain background with stronger contrast to be more compelling.
